But as good as these games are I must admit you do need a ninja PC to play these games at there best. Just to tot it up in your head to build a monster PC is a daunting thought alone. A top of a range CPU can cost you around $1000 if not more! You have to ask yourself is it really worth it? Well I can answer this for you if you still haven't made your mind up. The answer is definitely a NO!

I'll let you into a little secret, you might be thinking I'm sat here typing this on my Titan PC that is on par with the Deathstar. Well truth be known, it looks more like a clapped-out banger than anything the Empire can throw at you.

  But I don't care because my PC so UNBELIEVABLY FAST, that it'll outperform a PC worth thousands more hands down!!!

How is this possible???

So how come my little gray box of tricks has the CPU horse power to take on any game head on that other PCs worth thousands more struggle with to keep up with. 

Well over the years I've discovered, learned and mastered the art of taking a $200 CPU and turning it into a monster gaming CPU that will put these so called super PCs to shame!

Sounds impossible... trust me it isn't. here's why

The reason for this is because all CPUs from the same family are identical meaning your budget CPU is basically the same as the top of the range CPU from the same range... they just have different clock settings. Once you know how to access these options and understand the Matrix style jargon you can really open up the power of your CPU and see the true capabilities of your PC!

Don't believe me? Here is the proof

For this example I'll use Intel's new Core Duo range. Please bear in mind that this works with all CPUs. AMD to Intel, It really doesn't matter what CPU you have, they can all be overclocked regardless.

The ones highlighted in green are Intel's budget CPU, the E6300. The second one highlighted in green again is the same E6300 but this time it's been overclocked.

As you can see, it's nearly competing with the top CPU (highlighted in red) from the same range. That's 600 Mhz of free gaming performance already!

 But didn't I say I could make the budget CPU perform the same as or more so than the best CPU in that range????

I did and I can. Let me introduce you to CPU-Z. this is what all the overclockers use. It's a certificate that Overclockers use to verify their CPU clock settings.

I was talking to a guy in a PC store over a year ago and was comparing each others computer stats. He disagreed with overclocking and preferred to pay the full retail price for his components because he didn't want to void his warranty. However our CPUs were from the same range but he had the best in the range.

When I asked him what speed his CPU was running at, it turned out mine was running faster than his and I only paid short of $200!

I asked him if he overclocked it and he instantly said no and he doesn't intend to either. I told him that he's got to, mine was running over 800 Mhz faster than his and all my games were running at blistering speeds!

Now that's up to him but can you see how much money he's throwing away? He has spent around $1500 on his last two CPUs. I on the other Hand, spent $400 on my last two CPUs and I have had miles better performance than his! I think he is waiting for mine to blow up but they never have and never will.
